MOTD: Light and Airy Peachy Pink

Are you a fan of peachy-pink makeup? I love these light and airy tones!

♥ Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow – Another foundation product I dug out recently. I like the sheer to light medium coverage this gives and like most other Guerlain foundations I’ve used, I need to be a bit careful with application and apply light layers otherwise it can get cakey in some parts.

♥ Guerlain Meteorites in Clair – Quite possibly the best finishing powder. It leaves a very, very subtle glow. Also one tub of these pearl balls will last a lifetime. I’ve had mine (used regularly) for years and years and it’s still full.

♥ Chanel Blush in Fleur de Lotus – I think this is limited edition and came out in 2012. That’s how long I’ve had this. It’s a gorgeous swirl of coral, pink and rose and has a slight satin sheen. I pick up very little product with a Lunasol cheek brush and lightly fluff on my cheeks.

♥ Cezanne Eyeshadow Quad – I got this at the same time as the cheek stick, which I’ve featured before. It’s a lot more peachy in person (the lighting in the photo washes it out). The color payoff is typical of Japanese eyeshadows, i.e. not very pigmented, but I like is as a light wash on my eyes.

♥ Kate Tokyo Eyebrow Powder – I just purchased this after testing it at an event last week. This powder matches my eyebrows pretty well and is quite long-lasting. The lighter shades can be used to contour the nose I think.

♥ Peripera Cloud Ink Velvet – A pretty coral matte liquid lipstick. I like their lip products as I find them to be quite lightweight. But matte lipsticks can be drying so I sometimes top it off with gloss or a lipbalm.

♥ Hakuhodo, Shu Uemura and Laura Mercier brushes (various) – Just a few of my favorite eyebrushes along with a Shu Uemura curler to apply my eye makeup. I hardly use mascara because I don’t like dealing with the removal bit. So I’ll just curl my lashes to open my eyes a little and hope for the best.
